The JConcepts Tool Holder was designed with the racer in mind. It can easily be assembled on the go, right at the track. The tool holder can be used in track mode or storage mode. To assemble the tool holder simply attach the two carbon sides to the flat aluminum bottom. It should easily slide in the slots provided. From there, use the shorter screws to attach the carbon sides to the rounded "tool holder" piece. You will need a 2.5mm driver. Reference the photo of the assembled tool holder to assist you. The leftover longer screws can be stored in the empty unused holes while in track mode.
To put the tool holder in storage, unscrew the two sides using a 2.5mm driver. Once you have it all apart, you'll use the two longer screws to put it in storage mode. Stack the base on "tool holder" piece. You will line up the holes. On the carbon side pieces you'll see a hole and a slot. Line those up with the holes on the pieces you've already stacked. Then use the two longer screws to secure it all together. You can store the shorter screws in the two side holes that are not being used while in storage mode.
